Planeta Vegetariano - Puerto Vallarta , Mexico

Planeta Vegetariano
Iturbide 270, Centro, Puerto Vallarta, JA
01 322 222 3073

I am not a vegetarian, I am a carnivore, I love a good fillet Mignon, but this place is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The Last time i went to Puerto Vallarta in 2004 I ate at this restaurant everyday, even twice a day sometimes. They change the main food course meals every meal. MUCHO SABOR.
The thing with some generic Mexican restaurants is lack of flavor and bland taste..

This mom and pop restaurant is run by the family pretty much, and it's all you can eat Vegetarian Buffet with tons of different flavors and spices used.  Theres a variety of salads like carrot raisin coconut salad, cactus salad, spinach, all the "meat" type things are made of soy, There was even an orange beef Asian flavor main course.

My favorite is the fresh guava juice, not too sweet but you can tell they made it from fresh guavas. They also have an interesting Oatmeal drink that tastes like a sweet dessert drink.

You get a cinnamon vegan cake at the end. Not Gluten free tho... so if you get hungry in an hour, go get some carne asada somewhere else....
